Buiningia brevicylindrica v. longispina

Buiningia brevicylindrica var. longispina* (syn. Coleocephalocereus aureus var. longispinus) is a small, clumping columnar cactus native to Brazil, known for its golden spines and 24-inch height. It features 10–18 ribs, lateral cephalium with white wool and yellow bristles, and blooms with nocturnal yellowish flowers in summer. It requires full sun, excellent drainage, and protection from frost.
